bruised lips part, languid curtains unfold
the stage: a smile, serrated and rancid
a thick, scarlet flesh licks and slimes
metallic tang observed
delicious.
eyes peeling capaciously, wrathful steel
sclera’s drained crimson
pointed at you
staring
scheming
creeping ever closer
