Clark Fork

I found a shark in Clark Fork

A picture of a shark, printed

from a google image search

from the library in Sandpoint

because apparently all the ink

in Clark Fork was dumped

into the lake or something. An

old local told me, while smoking

an object resembling a paper

towel roll stuffed with pine

        needles.

Not a real shark, this is Idaho–

with Idaho trees you'd never get

with letters typed with a finger

in which shaking occurs, at times,

spilt on chest as a hospital record

in an unimportant place fell discarded

obsolete forgotten astray a stray

stick pile finds itself on the side of the road

airplane crashing into it, not a fix for a

needle and thread because Idaho doesn't have any
